5G of Wires

Alexa wire is an adapted “Bimetallic” development by Systematic group through its internal research efforts. Core is made of steel which is covered by Aluminium.
It has applications in agriculture and general engineering

Features:

Greater corrosion resistance

• Surety against corrosion is as a result of thick covering of pure Aluminium which covers 10-15 % of the radius of the wire and acts as a barrier
• Traditional wires have a problem of getting damaged resulting in rust. But in case of Alexa wires Aluminium has a strong and continues metallic bond with the steel and doesn’t crack or flake
• Laboratory tests on Alexa have involved salt spray, 100 percent relative humidity, and flue gas tests. In all of these, the wire has performed exceptionally well

High Tensile Strength

• Alexa wires are in the range of more than 1200 MPa UTS
• Inspite of being high tensile wires have good formability i.e desirable in terms of elongation and ductility

High Conductivity

• If compared to GI it has 3 times more conductivity
